WOW Entertainment has released new information on its upcoming Xbox shooter, House of the Dead 3. The game system has been changed around significantly, seeing the health bar and lives system dropped. Instead the focus is on time, so when a zombie attacks a player time will be taken off the counter, hopefully this will make the game more intense and is a welcome change from the stale formula that hasn’t changed much since the 80’s. <br /> <br /> Other changes include replacing the standard handgun with a shotgun, which carries fewer bullets but has the ability to shoot through multiple enemies, allowing you to score chain attacks for higher points. <br /> <br /> The games story will follow on from the events of the first game, and is not related to events from the second chapter. <br /> <br /> These changes certainly sound like they’ll have a diverse impact on the game, we’re looking forward to seeing this one in action. House of the Dead 3 is due for release in October; we’ll have a lot more soon. <br />
