Eidos wants to know who you would like to see in a Hitman movie…

Videogame adaptations to the silver screen havenâ??t exactly enjoyed a favourable relationship in the past, most notably in the form of the Super Mario Bros debacle and the laughable Streetfighter movie.

However as the popularity of videogames continues to surge and become an entertainment equivalent to the likes of movies and music, film studios are actively signing up videogame franchises and inspiration for original movies begin to dwindle.

Previously it was only smaller film companies purchasing videogame rights, however now larger names are beginning to sign licenses, resulting in the likes of Samus Aran hitting the big screen courtesy of John Woo.

With the success of two Tomb Raider movies behind them Eidos are certainly no strangers to the movie industry, as they today ask you to cast your vote in a poll to determine who would be the best actor to cast, should a Hitman movie be in the pipeline.

Simply pop over to www.empireonline.co.uk and cast your vote from the group of actors; remember it could be your vote that ensures the ageing Bruce Willis isnâ??t cast as Codename: 47 or perhaps youâ??d rather see Big Brotherâ??s Dermot Oâ??Leary providing a comical edge to the role.
