Looks like European and US gamers will never get the chance to play against each other on Bungie`s classic...
Bungie today announced bad news for all European gamers hoping to play Halo against their US counterparts. The PAL version (Europe) is not compatible with the NTSC (USA) version in both link-up and internet play. <br /> <br /> Bungie cited the PAL optimisation as the reason behind the incompatibility, which seems slightly strange. If we get any more information we’ll let you know. <br />

Halo is a great game, to any one who is reading this, and I insist . . . buy it! It is a little graphic and violent, I won't deny that, but it is the best Xbox game in my book, and the splitscreen mode you can play over and over again!
