Could GDC 2007 set the stage for more details on Ensemble Studios' Halo RTS???
Since it's unveiling at X06 in Barcelona last year, very little information about Ensemble Studios' RTS Halo Wars has emerged. However, in a forum post confirming that the Xbox 360 exclusive title had past the latest development milestone recently, Ensemble Studios Moderator "Thunder" also featured a signature that suggested more news on the title is coming very soon.
An "Incoming Transmission" is due to arrive in 777501 seconds (about 9 days), which taking into account the date of the post, lands right on the last day of GDC 2007 on March 9th.
Whilst it's unclear whether this will mean the release of a first set of screenshots, a new trailer, or just a ream of new information about the game, the timing for new details couldn't be better.

Thanks for a really insightful review, it was spot on. Ive really enjoyed this game so far, been a player of RTS for a few years. I think if you treat this game as a fun RTS to play with your mates over a couple of beers etc perfect.

I just got it and HATE it! I hope I can get my money back. It didn't climb the mountain for me. Can stress enough how disappointed I was. It doesn't even deserve to have the word HALO on the box.

If you want to select a single unit, just press 'A' on that unit. Otherwise, RB and LB selects all local or global units.

being a huge fan of c&c games there was a few things i didnt like about the halo wars demo..like how you can only have 30 units on screen at once(could just be in the demo and not full game) and when you try to move a unit or tank past another unit it gets blocked and you have to move the other units out the way to clear the path..(in c&c the other units automatically moved out the way) and also how you cant pick individual units and move them one at a time. as far as i could see it only lets you move the whole army at once or all the units on screen at once..(correct me if im wrong on that one)..did anyone find the same things when they played it?? i'll still get the game as i think the full game will have ways round the issues i had with the demo ..

well the demo is good, took out a few parts that looked good on the walk threw video like, like the warthogs doin them snakey turns, but hey, still a good demo, cant waite till it comes out =D
