Ensemble's Halo RTS will offer a 2 player co-op campaign and versus multiplayer for up to 6 players over Live...
The next Halo game on your Xbox 360 (Ensemble Studios' Halo Wars RTS) will offer a 2 player co-op option for its main campaign. Additionally, adversarial multiplayer games will be able to cater for up to 6 players over Xbox Live.
This news comes from the latest issue of GamePro, which also reveals that Ensemble has simplified many of the RTS elements in Halo Wars from what you might expect in a traditional PC strategy game.
Players will reportedly be able to prepare assaults in under a minute, while the learning curve has been shortened from what RTS fans may be used to, with the aim being to make the experience of Halo Wars faster.
A 2008 release date is looking increasingly unlikely for this hotly anticipated Halo game and it's more than likely to see release in 2009.

Thanks for a really insightful review, it was spot on. Ive really enjoyed this game so far, been a player of RTS for a few years. I think if you treat this game as a fun RTS to play with your mates over a couple of beers etc perfect.

I just got it and HATE it! I hope I can get my money back. It didn't climb the mountain for me. Can stress enough how disappointed I was. It doesn't even deserve to have the word HALO on the box.

If you want to select a single unit, just press 'A' on that unit. Otherwise, RB and LB selects all local or global units.
Hope this helps Gaz.

being a huge fan of c&c games there was a few things i didnt like about the halo wars demo..like how you can only have 30 units on screen at once(could just be in the demo and not full game) and when you try to move a unit or tank past another unit it gets blocked and you have to move the other units out the way to clear the path..(in c&c the other units automatically moved out the way) and also how you cant pick individual units and move them one at a time. as far as i could see it only lets you move the whole army at once or all the units on screen at once..(correct me if im wrong on that one)..did anyone find the same things when they played it?? i'll still get the game as i think the full game will have ways round the issues i had with the demo ..
