First trailer shown at E3 on the next chapter in the Halo saga...

It seems the rumours were well placed, with confirmation from Microsoft's E3 conference that Halo: Reach is currently in development for the Xbox 360 - at Bungie. The prequel to events of the original Halo is confirmed for a 2010 release with a beta version appearing on Halo 3: ODST – due for worldwide release on September 22nd.

Details on a new Halo 3: ODST multiplayer mode have also appeared. Sounding somewhat like Gears' Horde mode, Halo 3:ODST will also mark the appearance of the all-new Firefight mode, which challenges up to four players to compete against increasingly tougher waves of enemies.

For example, you could have a core Halo fan playing it like normal, but then somebody playing alongside taking control of a Warthog with Natal. But seeing as Reach is gonna go back in time - not sure how far - Warthogs might not have even been created. I'd liek to see Reach examine the Forerunners, personally. Nice avatar BTW...
