Halo 3 Achievements Reveal Campaign Details News

The list of Halo 3 Achievements recently published on the Xbox website has provided the first indication of what fans can expect from the single-player campaign.

Revealing that the game will contain 9 missions, compared to the 13 available for Halo 2 and 10 in the original Halo, we have no way of knowing how their length compares to its predecessors, but the reduced number comes as a little surprise - hopefully we won't have to double back through the equivalent of the Library this time though!

Collecting skulls will once again offer the ultimate challenge to Halo fantasists, although the implementation has changed around slightly this time, requiring players to complete the game on Normal, Heroic and Legendary beforehand.

The inclusion of an award for killing somebody with the new UNSC Mongoose in multiplayer throws some concern as to what other new vehicles Halo 3 will offer and why there aren't awards for them; surely Bungie have come up with more then just the Mongoose?
