Bungie's fascination with the number seven continues next week, with the release of a new multiplayer map...
Halo 3 may be behind Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in the most played game on Xbox Live in recent months, but that won't be stopping Bungie from celebrating their usual 'Bungie Day' on Monday (July 7th). The former Microsoft subsidiary has confirmed that it's to release new map, Cold Storage, for free next week along with one-day only Gamer Pics and Theme.
Based on the Halo: Combat Evolved map Chill Out, Cold Storage is set to join the same round of playlists used by the Legendary Map Pack, which is receiving a drop in price from Monday to 600 Microsoft Points (£5.10).
The studio is also calling for gamers to play Halo 3 over the coming few days in a bid to top 7 billion Campaign kills since the launch of the title in September 2007.
So, does anybody fancy putting down their weapons of Modern Warfare for e few days to help them out?
