Bungie releases details on the three original multiplayer maps included in Halo 3: ODST...
Bungie today released details on the final three multiplayer maps set to feature in the forthcoming Halo 3: ODST. Bundling together the existing Halo 3 multiplayer maps (totalling 24 maps on the disc), ODST will also include Heretic, Citadel, and Longshore.
Heretic will feel familiar to Halo fans as the Halo 2 Midship map makes its long rumoured appearance in Halo 3.
Citadel takes place in a long abandoned Forerunner stronghold, its two opposing bases providing little safety in a confined, symmetrical battleground designed for close quarters combat.
Finally, Longshore was once a lucrative port of New Mombasa caters for large scale combat, featuring a multitude of industrial buildings, elevated walkways, and open inlets to create a complex battleground.
Beyond the Halo 3 multiplayer maps, Halo 3: ODST will also feature an all-new single-player campaign that finds players taking on the role of an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, along with the original Firefight multiplayer mode and a chance to join the beta for Halo: Reach.

halo 3 odst takes part between halo 2 and halo 3. ur an odst because bungie wants u to be an odst. not a spartan. why? because its something new. if u dont like it...then dont buy the game.but its just an ideal. if u die in 2 shots? its because u dont have a ''shield'' have to be more carefull were u are in the game or else u die. if u dont like a hard game, as i said before. ''dont buy it''.

i agree with the post below, u talk about master cheif as if he is a god or summit,the point is, if u played as a spartan it wud be to easy, this is meant to be a stealthy, more scarey halo, cause now u dont have a noob sheild protectin ya

omg you lot are realy sad, its a new twist on halo and might leed to a sequel however maybe in its sequel you might find out how the troops become spartans, quit moaning about master cheif if hes not in it then hes not in it END OF.
if this game retains the game play of previous halo games then why shoud master cheif or spartans make any difference to the game play.
im sure true fans of the halo games realy dont care if master cheif or spartans are in it they just want to play a new halo game.
