Microsoft reduce the price of the Xbox even further in Japan...
It’s been heavily rumoured for a while, however Microsoft today made the move official by reducing the price of the Xbox in Japan from 24,800 yen to 16,800 yen; putting it in second place ahead of the Playstation2 (19,800 yen) but still more expensive then the GameCube (14,000 yen).<br><br>In addition Microsoft have confirmed plans to release a selection of Xbox games that haven’t been localised for a bargain price in Japan.<br><br>This is widely seen as the last straw in Microsoft’s attempt to carve some type of market in Japan, whether it will have anymore success is still doubtful.<br>
