Handheld Halo Sighted! News

Providing yet another platform to listen to music, access the net, save photos and share them with equally minded people, Microsoft looks likely to lift the lid on the latest Portable Media Center pushing tablet on March 2nd.

Thanks to a promotional "You Are Free" trailer arriving on the net, some of the ideas and concepts behind Project Origami can be seen, including footage of Halo being played, for a second or two at least.

Despite the "Halo Handheld" headline that adorns this article, it's worth bearing in mind the trailer simply implies that the device can play PC titles, rather then any specific forward thinking handheld strategy from Microsoft Game Studios - you'd have to question whacking it out on the bus ride home as well.

A description of the forthcoming Toshiba Gigabeat S Series PMC throws up an interesting point however, with the declaration, "...or enjoy interactive gaming with integrated audio for Microsoft Xbox 360." We'd assume this to be just a glamorous way of sharing music until we hear of anything more substantial.

Of more interest to us is why there's a link to a gambling link farm within the trailer (www.taikoux.com), unless our eyes are very much mistaken...
