This is what you wanted; Halo2 is going to be the biggest thing this year…
Having confirmed a November 11th release for Halo2, Microsoft today sent us along a selection of new screens from the title prior to the E3 event.
Quite simply the game is looking fantastic; however it makes that long wait until November seem like such a long time. As you can see the screens depict the new melee combat with the Covenant Plasma Sword, in addition to revealing a couple of new vehicles.
Showing off the games multiplayer aspects has been the main focus of Microsoftâ??s push so far, and whilst Bungie are still being candid on releasing specific details we can fully expect Halo2 to support Xbox Live! 3.0 in ways that we never imagined.
Whilst early chatter from the show seems to suggest a limit of 16 players in multiplayer bouts, it should be noted that this figure has yet to be finalised and could see a significant increase.
Weâ??ll have lots more on Halo 2 very soon, but until then just check out the screens.
