HDR demo now available to HL2 owners across STEAM...

Valve today confirmed the release of Half Life 2: Lost Coast, a single-level specifically created to showcase High-Dynamic Range (HDR) lighting in the Source engine.

The system requirements are pretty steep, requiring a basic configuration of a 2.2 Ghz processor, 1GB RAM and a DX9 compatible graphics card; if you can meet these specifications itâ??s well worth checking out.

Lost Coast is available free of charge to owners of Half Life 2, just simply log-in to STEAM.
