Valve today delivered news on a significant update to Steam, introducing a range of new features as it continues on its path of global domination in the digital download stakes.
Planned for release later in the week and described as "one of the largest in the service's history", the update will introduce Guest Passes, Background Client Updating, and a new user interface amongst several more features.
