Eagerly awaited sequel finally finds a release and dubbed as “the most important game you’ll ever play”…

TVG today received word that the November issue of PC Gamer has gained the world-exclusive review of Half Life 2, ending months of doubt about its release.

Having been in development for the past six years, it looks likely that the work has paid off, as PC Gamer awarded the eagerly awaited title 98% - the highest rating in its history â?“ and dubbed it â??The Most Important Game Youâ??ll Ever Playâ?.

A 4-page interview with Valveâ??s Gary McTaggart compliments the 9-page review, along with information on Counter-Strike: Source â?“ the latest title in the popular online game built upon the HL2 engine.

As of yet Vivendi-Universal have yet to confirm a specific release date for Half Life 2, however this news proves that it canâ??t be too far away; weâ??ll have more on Half Life 2 soon.
