Valve confirm that its eagerly awaited sequel won't make it for September 30th - well doh...
After all the <a href=http://www.totalvideogames.com/?section=Read%20News&id=3964&gameid=2088&format=000007>speculation</a> surrounding the release date of ‘Half Life 2’, it seems that an official comment has finally been muttered from the depths of Valve Software.<br><br>As was widely suspected the game won’t ship on time for the originally scheduled September 30th, however it appears that the developer doesn’t have a fixed release date and instead ‘hopes’ to get the game to shop shelves for Christmas as we claimed earlier today.<br><br>These claims come from Valve directly, so should be taken with confidence – those still hoping for a September 30th release should probably swallow that bitter pill of disappointment and pray that it makes it for 2003.
