Valve Software release updated information on the hardware requirements for the forthcoming Half Life 2…
Whilst the release of Half Life 2 continues to be a mystery, Valve Software recently confirmed details on the minimum specification needed to play the eagerly awaited title.
According to Gabe Newell Managing Director Valve Software, the Basic Spec will require the following:
- 1.2 Ghz Processor
- 256MB RAM
- DirectX 7 Graphics Card
However the recommended specification is significantly higher if you wish to see Half Life 2 in all its glory:
- 2.4Ghz Processor
- 512MB RAM
- DirectX 9 Graphics Card
So whilst itâ??s not exactly the all-important release date information that weâ??re hoping for, this should at least give you enough time to make sure your computer is up to scratch when Half Life 2 is finally released.
