Haze Gets DualShock 3 News
Gamers will be able to play Haze with rumble once the controllers come out next year...
By Gwynne DixonPosted: 01/10/2007
A new video from Free Radical Design shows that they have rumble enabled DualShock 3s at their Nottingham studios and suggests that their timed exclusive PlayStation 3 title, Haze, will ship with DualShock 3 compatibility. The video is currently viewable on TVG.TV.
While Japanese gamers will be able to enjoy Haze with a rumbling controller this year, European and American gamers will have to wait until next year for the DualShock 3 to reach their shores and Haze to take life in rumbling form.
This follows the recent announcement at TGS that Sony are releasing a rumble enabled DualShock 3 controller for their PS3, which was subsequently followed by the first confirmed DualShock 3 game: Burnout Paradise.
It seems that the original rumours about a rumbling SixAxis in the hands of developers as much as two months ago - which Sony subsequently quashed - were very probably true. What a surprise.

I can't believe you gave this review 7/10 -- there is no way that tallies with the text! You spend the whole time saying how the gameplay is so mediocre but there's a fairly decent plot (which I don't necessarily agree with - an interesting idea, poorly executed, and with a terrible script IMO) and yet give it a score significantly above average...?!
I wanted Haze to be good and bought it a while back when I saw it for £10 online (thought the demo was okay), but man, it was just so dissappointing and unfinished. It's a terrible shame because I love the TimeSplitters games, but this was just a shadow of their former work.

Haze is brilliant? Are you sure? I think most people agree it's a great big pile of steaming manure.

i think haze is a great game, yes the ai is a bit poo but the ai can be worse in other games look at army of twos ai,ive been waiting all year for it to come out, i bought it the week it came out and i thought wow! how dare u say the gameplay in haze is bland i never got bored of it, yes its short, yes the ai is a bit crap, but i love it, one of my classics, its not as good as i thought it would be, and as for the graphics it was made for hi-def ply it in hd and it looks stunning, the cut scenes aren't that long look at mgs 3 and 4 in fact all of them number 3 must have atleast 3 hours of cut scenes in a 1o or 12 chapter game now thats boring.

haze is like a crap version of halo. the proof is in the scores haze 7 halo 9, and thats a big gap. its a shame i have an xbox360 and a ps3 but the ps3 is a let down i plan on keeping it for the ff titles but with fable 2 comming out i dont no if all that money was worth it. haze a waste of £40 shame i was looking forward to it

Wow... as disapointing as christmas without a new bike in campaign mode. However, multiplayer is a saving grace. Took 6 hours to complete... waste of time and effort really. Graphics aren't that bad- could be better but really could be worse. All in all a sub par campaign mode with a pretty good multiplayer which saves it from a dire rating.

GReat Game.. Short story mode As a Mantel Trooper thougth.. longer gameplay as mantel could've been better. If Haze is exclusive to PS3 hows it on 360 or Pc? Explain?
