Free Radical Design, the development studio behind the Timesplitter series and psychic adventure Second Sight, has adopted the asset management system Perforce from a fellow UK-based company Perforce Software. The application has enabled Free Radical to improve productivity through its Fast Software Configuration Management (SCM) System in the development of next-generation titles.

"In order to keep ahead of the other major independent developers, it is essential that we have robust development processes in place; Perforce is a critical part of that process and the way that we work. As our asset management solution, Perforce plays a significant role in our ability to quickly produce reliable builds that can be developed, tested, and brought to market promptly, keeping us ahead of competitors."

Free Radical are currently working on an original IP for Ubisoft, though details (including a title) are yet to be announced.
