Gunpey

Speaking to Japanese publication Famitsu, Tetsuya Mizugushi has confirmed that he's working as Executive Producer for updated versions of the Wonderswan puzzler, Gunpey (created by the late Gunpey Yokoi, creator of the original GameBoy). The title, Gunpey-R, is being developed for PSP and Nintendo DS, with publishing duties by Namco Bandai - although a publisher is yet to be announced for outside the country.

[Update]Namco Bandai of America have confirmed that a North American release of the game, to be simply called 'Gunpey', will take place during the 2006 Holiday season. A European publisher is yet to be announced...
