First Queen Tracks Come To Guitar Hero News

On March 26th, Guitar Hero World Tour will be graced by the silky sounds of Brian May's fretboard for the first time when a track pack of Queen songs is released for Xbox 360 and PS3 on March 26th.

Additionally, a second Jimi Hendrix track pack will be released on March 19th and will add 'Angel', 'Freedom', and a live 'Foxey Lady' recording from Hendrix's iconic Woodstock performance to the four Hendrix tracks that are already available for GHWT.

The three new Queen songs will be the legendary anthem 'We Are The Champions', 'Fat Bottomed Girls', and 'C-lebrity'. Each pack will set gamers back 440 Microsoft Points (£3.74) or £3.99 on PSN.

To show Wii owners that Activision Blizzard hasn't forgotten about their storage capacity hindered machine, the publisher will be releasing the first track pack of Hendrix songs (including 'If 6 was 9', 'Littlewing', and 'Fire') as downloadable singles on March 19th for 200 Wii Points each.

As if that wasn't enough for March, Activision Blizzard is also releasing the Bond theme as a downloadable track on March 26th. The track will set gamers back the usual price for a single on each console, which is 160 Microsoft Points (£1.36) on LIVE, £1.59 on PSN, and 200 Wii Points (approx. £1.50) on the Wii Shop Channel.
