Guitar Hero 5 will release in the UK three days after Harmonix's The Beatles: Rock Band comes to town...
We've just received word from Guitar Hero's UK reps that GH5 will release over here on September 11th, 10 days after its US release and a mere three days after Harmonix's The Beatles: Rock Band launches worldwide on September 9th.
Both the standalone game and guitar bundle packages will be available on September 11th for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PS2, although there's still no word on when GH5's new drum kit will arrive in the UK and whether a 'band-in-a-box' bundle (comprising of drums, guitar, microphone, and game) will be made available as it was last year.
In other GH5 news, Activision has confirmed another playable character for the game in Muse frontman, Matt Bellamy. He's the fifth game character to be spotted in the game behind Johnny Cash, Kurt Cobain, Carlos Santana, and Shirley Manson.
The Muse frontman gets set to strut his stuff in the next Guitar Hero instalment...

just cause the songs don't make your fingers blister doesn't mean they suck fast music doesn't equal good music, sultans of swing will be fun as hell along with under pressure, smells like teen spirit, what i got, rock show, and more just cuase a song isn't near impossible to beat on the game doesn't make it suck. for me if it's a song i like and something fun to play even if it's easy it's a great track choice. you sound like my idiot lil brother who thinks loud and fast is the only way to go
