Activision unveils 24 of the 85 tracks that will feature in Guitar Hero 5 when it's released this autumn...
While Activision has already unveiled the full list of artists for Guitar Hero 5, we didn't know a whole lot about the tracks that would feature in the game until this list of 24 tracks was press released by the publisher this afternoon:

- Beastie Boys - "Gratitude"
- Beck - "Gamma Ray"
- Billy Squier - "Lonely Is The Night"
- Blur - "Song 2"
- Bob Dylan - "All Along The Watchtower"
- Children Of Bodom - "Done With Everything, Die For Nothing"
- Coldplay - "In My Place"
- Darkest Hour - "Demon(s)"
- David Bowie - "Fame"
- Deep Purple - "Woman From Tokyo ('99 Remix)"
- Elliott Smith - "L.A."
- Iggy Pop - "Lust For Life (Live)"
- Jeff Beck - "Scatterbrain (Live)"
- John Mellencamp - "Hurts So Good"
- Kings Of Leon - "Sex On Fire"
- Queens Of The Stone Age - "Make It Wit Chu"
- Rose Hill Drive - "Sneak Out"
- Santana - "No One To Depend On (Live)"
- The Bronx - "Six Days A Week"
- Thrice - "Deadbolt"
- Tom Petty - "Runnin' Down A Dream"
- Vampire Weekend - "A-Punk"
- Wolfmother - "Back Round"
These are the first two dozen tracks of a full set-list that will comprise 85 tracks in the final game. Stay tuned for more set-list reveals as they're made available...

Dylans actually worked with some insane guitarist. they should use the song dirge from the planet waves album, robby robertson from "the band" shreds that entire album. also, the song tombstone blues might be sick, mike bloomfields badass.

just cause the songs don't make your fingers blister doesn't mean they suck fast music doesn't equal good music, sultans of swing will be fun as hell along with under pressure, smells like teen spirit, what i got, rock show, and more just cuase a song isn't near impossible to beat on the game doesn't make it suck. for me if it's a song i like and something fun to play even if it's easy it's a great track choice. you sound like my idiot lil brother who thinks loud and fast is the only way to go
