Activision announces 22 more tracks for Guitar Hero 5, bringing the total count to 46 of 85...
The next 22 tracks for Guitar Hero 5's set-list have been announced by Activision, which now brings the total list of announced tracks to 46 following the publisher's initial 24 track reveal last week. Here are the new tunes:
- Attack! Attack! UK - "You And Me"
- Bon Jovi - "You Give Love A Bad Name"
- Darker My Love - "Blue Day"
- The Duke Spirit - "Send A Little Love Token"
- Elton John - "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)"
- Face To Face - "Disconnected"
- Garbage - "Only Happy When It Rains"
- Kaiser Chiefs - "Never Miss A Beat"
- Kiss - "Shout It Out Loud"
- Love and Rockets - "Mirror People"
- My Morning Jacket - "One Big Holiday"
- Nirvana - "Lithium (Live)"
- The Police - "So Lonely"
- Rammstein - "Du Hast"
- The Rolling Stones - "Sympathy For The Devil"
- Sonic Youth - "Incinerate"
- Screaming Trees - "Nearly Lost You"
- Sublime - "What I Got"
- The Sword - "Maiden, Mother & Crone"
- Thin Lizzy - "Jailbreak"
- Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - "American Girl"
- The White Stripes - "Blue Orchid"
Guitar Hero 5 will include a total of 85 tracks on its entire set-list, which gamers will be able to play along to with a new set of drums (see below) that Activision has revealed alongside these 22 new tracks. In short, it looks a lot like last year's drum kit peripheral.

That's the way Guitar Hero 6 (Warriors of Rock) is going. I saw it at a pre-E3 press event last month and "Loud and fast" are precisely the words I'd use to describe Guitar Hero 6's angle.
Rather than moving towards its casual audience, which is what Guitar Hero has been doing for the last two or three years, Guitar Hero 6 is going back to the core GH gamers that play until their fingers bleed.

Dylans actually worked with some insane guitarist. they should use the song dirge from the planet waves album, robby robertson from "the band" shreds that entire album. also, the song tombstone blues might be sick, mike bloomfields badass.
