In the build up to the release of the third Guild Wars instalment later in 2006, NCsoft reveal more details...
Following the recent announcement by NCsoft that the third instalment of Guild Wars is to be called "Nightfall", the publisher has today confirmed plans to release a 'Pre-Release Bonus Pack', which will give non-GW gamers a taster of what the subscription-free MMO offers.
Allowing gamers to experience up to 10-hours worth of Guild Wars gameplay across a 14-day period (beginning from the time the account is activated), the Bonus Pack will give players access to both Guild Wars: Prophecies and Factions.
In addition, players will get a Guild Wars: Nightfall Bonus Key for a new character slot ahead of Nightfall's release, two exclusive character items, and a small raft of bonuses including concept art, wallpapers, and music.
NCsoft has also confirmed that Nightfall will take place in the land of Elona, known at the Land of the Golden Sun, which is split into three provinces. With the menace of an outcast god threatening the future of the three provinces of Istan, Kourna, and Vabbi, players will have the responsibility of leading the areas against their foe.
Guild Wars: Nightfall Pre-Release Bonus Pack will be released on PC on September 15th; we'll have more news shortly...
