Polyphony Digital's masterpiece finally making a PSP appearance...
Joining the unveiling of the PSP Go, Sony has lifted the lid on Gran Turismo's eagerly awaited debut on the handheld format.
Featuring over 800 cars and 35 different tracks, Gran Turismo PSP aims to emulate its home console siblings in every department. PSP owners will be able to trade cars between one another, which is designed to make car collecting an easier and more sociable experience.
Gran Turismo will make an appearance alongside the PSP Go on October 1st.
More details shortly...

"without having to condense or cut anything"? umm yeah, no career mode, or online play, in my book that's called cutting something.

Bought the game today, and I dont mind a lot of content missing in the mobile version... but why on earth is it NOT possible to have small competitions?!?!? I dont see any reason to leave out events like that... I must say, I'm dissapointed and 40 euros lighter

Maybe they're reserving infrastructure mode for the sequel. It took Polyphony Digital long enough to add online multiplayer in the home console series and dito for car damage. The PSP2 will probably be released before either of those features come to the handheld versions. Still, Polyphony Digital is an awesome developer nonetheless.

Nope you've only got ad-hoc - bit of a shame and a missed opportunity, can't understand why develoeprs don't support infrastructure...
