Although Playstation owners may not have got over the disappointment of the recent delay to ‘Gran Turismo 4’, we’re hoping that these beautiful new screens from the game will offer some cheer.<br><br>Designed to showcase the enhancements being made to the games scenery visuals, we recently put ‘Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec’ against the latest title for a quick comparison, noticing Yamauchi-san previous claims about the artistic style being improved instead of relying on technical accomplishment.<br><br><center><img border="2" src="http://www.totalvideogames.com/Images/gt4comp.jpg" width="400" height="584"></center><br><br>‘GT3’ looks extremely crude by today’s standards with rough and ready backgrounds and scenic textures that look hideous; in comparison the photo-realistic backdrops of ‘GT4’ vastly improve the overall look.<br><br>‘Gran Turismo 4’ has been put back to an unspecified point in 2004, which isn’t exactly surprising considering the series lineage; we’ll have more news and hopefully a confirmed release date soon.
