US reports suggest that the James Bond license will be saved by the guys who originally gave us GoldenEye...

American reports stemming from IGN have recently alleged that the next James Bond title is set to be handed to the very capable UK developer, Free Radical.

Besides being famed for the excellent TimeSplitters series, it should come as music to Bond fans ears to know that Free Radical comprises of a number of ex-Rare employees that applied their genius on the likes of GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark. If the rumour does prove to have a shred of credibility, then this will hopefully go along way to eradicating the painful experience that GoldenEye: Rogue Agent recently threw up.

When contacted regarding the speculation, an EA representative issued a "no comment" on the subject; however we'll do our best to keep digging and hopefully bring you more information soon.
