The resume of an animator brings an update on LA Noire and word of a Wii GoldenEye...

Superannuation has been at it again, digging through the annals of the internet in the search for more headline breaking discoveries.  This time around it's the resume of Craig Peck that has attracted the attention.

Peck's current line of work seems to confirm that work is progressing on Rockstar Games and Team Bondi's ultra-elusive LA Noire.

But before this Peck was apparently working for Eurocom, between the months of July and September, on GoldenEye 2010 for the Nintendo Wii.

You what?  Seriously, with one botched attempt at bringing the name back in the atrocious GoldenEye: Rogue Agent and Rare's failed efforts to bring the original onto XBLA/Virtual Console, you'd have thought they'd just let this one go.

I'm getting tired of critics dismissing use of the Wiimote in first person shooters. It works great, imo, and I can't imagine playing this game any other way.

asteroids has had several remakes and yet again super stardust on the amiga and super stardust HD on ps3, dont always have the assumption that a remake is going to be crap, (though most are but the odd few slip by that really standout and are actually better).

Had it's day, leave it alone - and I'm afraid that trailer with people brainstorming just made me cringe all over.

The creation of GoldenEye was a fascinating story; it was almost conceived by mistake as Rare originalyl had it as an on-rails shooter ala Virtua Cop.

Do you really think whoever Activision has got on it will actually do the game any justice?  Besides even if it was a carbon-copy port, it's like I said - that game has had it's day.

Asteroids was a classic back in the day, but I don't want a remake.
