God of War: Chains of Olympus' instruction manual hints at God of War on PS3 sooner rather than later...
God of War: Chains of Olympus' instruction manual has an ad which clearly states that God of War on PS3 is "Coming Soon". This news comes from the US where the PSP game will be released tomorrow, although it won't come to Europe until March 28th.
IGN reports that the ad, which is at the back of the manual, displays the instantly recognisable God of War Omega symbol with "PS3" written inside it. Underneath this are the words "Coming Soon" and then "PlayStation 3".
However, Sony did exactly the same thing with God of War II for Chains of Olympus, advertising the PSP game as "Coming 2007".
God of War II was released almost exactly a year ago in the US, so if previous form is anything to go by then we can expect God of War III around this time next year. However, we're hoping that the vaguer words of "Coming Soon" on this latest ad mean that it could still get a winter 2008 release, even though recent reports have placed the game squarely in a 2009 release window.

lol night vision goggles i got em for £30 also you can now get mw2 nvg pack for £85, ps anyone played the crap gt5 demo yet lol how can you justify a game like gt by giving people a demo thats just over 200mb and thats gt5 not gt5p if sony are realy serious about the ps3 they should have given a demo a lot more thought than what they have for gt5.

that's so amazing that they've redone 1 & 2 in HD! ps3 really has some wicked stuff in 2010, i'm happy i finally decided to goto the darkside instead of sticking to gates broken money-spinner. 8-)

So, do we know when this thing is coming out? I tend to avoid playing my PS3 for games (I just prefer my 360, simple as that), but no way am I missing this thing!

There is no faulting the God of War series - even the PSP's Chains of Olympus is awesome. The latest God of War 3 trailer looks stunning - here's hoping the story and gameplay are still spot-on ;-)
