Cult-classic Gitaroo Man makes his long-awaited comeback as KOEI today confirmed the development of Gitaroo Lives! for the PSP.

The sequel to the 2002 Playstation2 strums a similar style, splitting traditional rhythm/action techniques into four combat phases, as Gitaroo Man faces up against a line of adversaries.

KOEI promises the inclusion of Wi-Fi multiplayer modes to Gitaroo Lives!, allowing two players to compete co-operatively or competitively.

Gitaroo Lives! is scheduled for a UK release during the third quarter 2006; look out for further information soon.
