Confirmation Of EU Release of Ghost In The Shell News

Twelve months on from its Japanese release, Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex will be hitting the European retailers in March 2005, courtesy of a deal struck between Atari and Bandai.

Announcing the deal, Martin Spiess, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Atari Europe said, "The Ghost in the Shell universe is an incredible setting for a video game, and fans of the anime and keen action gamers alike will find Bandai's Ghost in the Shell®: Stand Alone ComplexTM a thoroughly absorbing experienceâ?¦The gorgeous visual presentation and original electronic musical score create a really intense atmosphere, and hacking into the minds of enemies and machines to control their actions adds a thoroughly new and engrossing dimension to the gameplay."

With the anime series also set to hit Europe at the same, March 2005 is bound to become a very exciting time for Japanimation fans across the continent.
