TVG receives clarification that the PS2 version of Ghost Recon 2 is being developed at two different studios…

Following on from our earlier article at the end of August regarding the development of Ghost Recon 2, TVG today received an e-mail from Ghost Recon Creative Director, Joe Booth.

In his e-mail, Mr Booth re-confirmed that the Xbox and PS2 versions were being developed at two different companies, the Xbox version at Red Storm, and the PS2 at Ubisoft. However, further to that, he confirmed that the PS2 version was actually being developed at two different Ubisoft studios; the Single-Player game is currently being constructed at Ubisoft Shanghai, with the Multi-Player game developed at Ubisoft Paris. He also confirmed to TVG that Ubisoft are spending roughly the same amount of money on the Single-Player mode as the Multi-Player mode, to ensure that no sacrifices are made.

TVG will have more on the forthcoming ghost Recon sequel, soonâ?¦
