Bleszinski Touts "Great Announcements" News

Cliff Bleszinski hypes-up some of the projects that are underway at Epic's partner studios...

Epic's sounding box, Cliff Bleszinski, has spoken about some of the game projects that are being undertaken at the Gears of War 2 developer's partner studio's, suggesting that an announcement of one of the projects is imminent.

Speaking from GDC on the Major Nelson blogcast, Bleszinski said, "I have a lot of things going on right now. There are our partners at Chair in Utah who are working on a product that we're going to be announcing at some point in the near future, which is very, very cool."

We're scratching our heads on this one. It could have something to do with the Dark Corners DLC that was rumoured for Gears 2 last week, but then it could just as easily have nothing to do with it. We've tuned all of the TVG satellites to Chair Entertainment, Utah just in case though.

"Our partners at People Can Fly in Poland are working on some great stuff," Bleszinski continued (we assume he's talking about the joint EA/Epic project). "We're working on things internally and I feel like I have five balls up in the air that I'm juggling right now and it's an incredibly exciting time, so keep your ears [surely he means eyes, ed.] peeled in the next year - there's going to be a lot of great announcements."
