Details on the PSP adaptation of Neversoft's Wild West title are unveiled by Activision...

Set for release during Autumn 2006, Activision has today revealed further details on GUN Showdown for PSP, which is currently in development at Rebellion (with a little help from GUN developers, Neversoft).

Following the same story of the home console original, GUN Showdown will also include five new missions and a host of pick-up-and-play mini games for quick shots (no pun intended) of gameplay.

Additionally, GUN Showdown will include Ad Hoc Wi-Fi functionality for multiplayer action across a number of gametypes such as Deathmatch (of course), 'Golden Cross', and Last Man Standing - though how that will translate as a third-person experience will have to be seen.

We'll have more on GUN Showdown shortly...
