Could GTA V be heading back to San Andreas; we certainly hope so...
So we're the type of gamers that don't spend two seconds on game manuals. By the time we've ripped open the packaging, the disc is already spinning in the drive and there's no time for inconsequential activities such as reading.
But sometimes such an overlook can be costly.
When Episodes From Liberty City arrived earlier in the week we paid little attention to the manual; we know how to play GTA by now. But for those who actually went to the effort of looking, a little surprise lurked towards the back pages.
A full-page advert proclaims: "Liberty City, It's Over! Next Stop".
Surely a suggestion towards where GTA V could possibly be set? In particular a cut-out section in the bottom left hand corner showcases a mountain landscape - it HAS to be Mount Chiliad from San Andreas.
What do you think? Could we be heading back to the streets of Los Santos, flying over Las Venturas and having out with The Truth? Just imagine San Andreas powered by the RAGE engine!

Arguably The Ballad of Gay Tony is a kind of spiritual successor to Vice City. Yes, it's episodic content rather than a full release, and yes, it's set in the present day, but the design and characters definitely have shades of Vice City.

GTA2 was a little too far-fetched (story-wise) for my liking. I prefer the fact that GTA has a toe in the realms of reality these days.

why cant they just continue the stroy from gta 2 if i remember correctly was in the future (realy gta 3 is a continuation of gta 1) so where is the continuation of gta vice city (which is in the 80's) rockstar rely need to continue the story from gta 2 and vice city as the rest of the gta seriese of games have all been based around the present day.

How about GTA: The Great Barrier Reef? It's all underwater and players run a crime syndicate that brandishes lethal harpoons. The main black market trade is illegally fished whale and seahorses that have been plucked from the coral for sale to Triad gangs as a traditional medicinal remedy.
