Rockstar's big co-boss talks briefly about the next GTA...
Speaking to The Times, Rockstar Games' Dan Houser has provided the first official (of sorts) acknowledgement that GTA V is in the works.
Following the spoof advertisement in 'The Episodes From Liberty City' manual, The Times references Red Dead Redemption and the "next GTA".
"We'll think of a city first, then the characters," Houser claims. The Times adds that Houser's script will run to around 1000 pages, although it's not specific whether this in reference to GTA V or Red Dead Redemption.
Intriguingly the article is entitled 'Dan Houser on why GTA IV had to end', suggesting that we won't be seeing anymore episodic content for the title in the interim.
So a city first, then the characters; could GTA V be making a return to familiar territory or striking out on a whole new setting? Either way it seems GTA V is closer then we originally thought.

Id like it based in glasgow... you couldnt drive much because of the potholes but theres plenty of prostitutes to mame, smack heads to run over and everyones a dodgy gangster type with trackies tucked into their socks... GTA GLASGOW...SMACKHEAD CITY!

id love to see an english GTA only there has only ever been 1 GTA london and that was initially an addon come later standalone game, every other GTA has been american based around liberty city (new york) and sanfrancisco (bad spelling and probably wrong location) i think a revisit to sanandreas would be cool seams as GTA4 was a revisit to GTA3 with the obvious updates based on real world location data.

I personally wouldnt mind gta being based in England as long as the map is big like san andreas but I do hope that its based in modern times because I dont think I could stand another 80s soundtrack
