San Andreas Heading To Xbox Originals News

The list of downloadable Xbox 1 games expands to include the best title of the last generation...

Launched in December last year, the stream of titles arriving on the Xbox 360’s ‘Xbox Originals’ has been more like a trickle. There aren’t even two dozen games on the service yet, and the selection available has been questionable on more than a couple of occasions (we’re looking at you Guilty Gear X2 and Fusion Frenzy).

Thankfully, there are some titles on Xbox Originals that really do typify the very best of the last generation, with Fable, Fahrenheit, Burnout 3, and Halo giving the service a sense of respect.

Whilst it hasn’t yet been made available, the list of respectable titles will be growing (by one) from October 20th, with Xbox.com adding a listing for Rockstar Games’ GTA: San Andreas. Arguably the best game of the last generation of consoles, San Andreas set the standard for all sand box games to follow, and it’s even debatable as to whether it’s even been superseded on the current gen.

Gamers will be able to revisit the ghettos of 1990s San Andreas state for 1,200 Microsoft Points.
