SEGA Confirms E3 Line-Up News

SEGA today revealed its forthcoming E3 line-up, confirming the development of a new Xbox 360 title alongside the previously confirmed, Condemned: Criminal Origins.

Full Auto takes place in the city of Staunton, where a mysterious group known as The Shepherds are holding the population hostage. As a retired driver, players are coerced into a series of lethal races by the Shepherds, where the cost of competing is far greater then anyone expects.

The game introduces a new feature known as â??Unwreckâ? which promises to make mid-race â??restartsâ? a thing of the past, allowing players to rewind short periods of time - botch a turn or miss a shortcut, simply rewind and take it back.

A wide variety of unique vehicles are available to the player, who must arm them with any combination of machine guns, cannons and other deadly weapons before taking it to the streets.

â??Play mechanics that would be impossible on current generation hardware â?“ like the ability [in Full Auto] to turn an entire city block to rubble, then rewind the carnage at the press of a button â?“ will truly define the next-generation experience,â? said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Entertainment Marketing, SEGA of America. â??In Full Auto, you'll never see the same explosive sequence twice and, with our proprietary physics technology, gamers will quite literally see and experience destructive uniqueness every time they play it.â?

In addition further details on Monolithâ??s psychological first-person-shooter, Condemned: Criminal Origins have become apparent. Players have to use their instincts, forensic tools and melee combat to hunt serial killers and bring them to justice.

Players take the role of Agent Thomas, an FBI investigator in the Serial Crimes Unit (SCU) and must relentlessly pursue serial killers through detailed urban environments; SEGA promise photo-realistic backdrops, life-like physics and highly sophisticated AI in whatâ??s shaping up to be one of the most anticipated titles for E3.
