Japanese Patent Office archives reveal that Square-Enix registered the trademark simultaneously with the US...
Back in June, TVG reported on news that Square-Enix had registered the trademark "Friends of Mana" in the US Patents & Trademarks Office on May 26th. Today it seems like the name of prospective third 'Mana' title has been further cemented with confirmation that the company had also registered the trademark in the Japanese Patent Office on the same day.
Further details into the progression of the trademark are currently unavailable, together with news from Square-Enix themselves as to which platform the officially unannounced title will take.
