First DLC pack has been sent for certification; further information on the content coming 'any day now'...
In their latest 'Pitpass Report', Turn 10 has today confirmed that the first set of Downloadable Content for Forza Motorsport 2 has been completed, and is currently in the process of being certified by Microsoft ahead of release.
Although actual details of what the DLC will contain, along with the cost of the pack, is yet to be revealed, Turn 10 has confirmed that further news will be coming "any day now". The studio's report also commented that the pack would contain a patch for several identified bugs and exploits (including a speed glitch on the Nissan Speedway, and a PI calculation bug for the Lotus Elan), although an automatic patch update will be released to fix the issues separately.
News of the future content comes at the same time that the studio has released a barrage of stats and figures detailing the performance of the game over Xbox Live, including the number of gamers that have logged a Scoreboard time (over 520,000), the number auctions that have taken place (over 2 million), and the number of photos that have been uploaded (over 1.5 million).
The studio also clarified reports surrounding rumours that the game has been responsible for 'bricking' a number Xbox 360s, prompting the dreaded "Red Lights of Death", stating categorically that: "the game itself does not brick Xbox 360 consoles".

well thats realy bad news nissan going to granny turismo i guess we will have to put up with nismo insted lol besides is it realy a big loss even though there are over 10 different nissans in fm2 not that thats a problem theres ferrari lambos porsche ect im sure gt5 will be a good game just like all sequels better grahpics same game play same game lol just newer cars and lots of very very similar spec cars so thats about 500 new cars take out all the duoplicates and your left with about 30 cars that you might use only a few times

I personally love this game. I agree with the anonymous comment about Mazda history. A L10A (or L10B) Cosmosport would be much appreciated.

what do people think to new body classes? such as suv or mpv or even cooler a van.... just imagine a ford transit and being able to convert the engine with a escort cosworth rs or even rediculously a ford gt. can you imagine the fun you could have with these 3 overweight classes and seeing people do 200mph+ in a transit. i hope turn 10 see this review and see the cool side to these new body classes and what fun they would be to race online with. let me know what all you guys think...

Man, why do you all want really bad cars...anyway, I played this this the other day, after playing the original forza (which was good but not exactly gripping) I was far more impressed with FM2. The only real annoying factor being the load times every few screens; they should be a thing of the past!
