Nissan And Xbox Team Up For Forza 2 News

Three free Nissans join the virtual showrooms of Forza Motorsport 2; new tournament to open offering an actual car as the prize...

Xbox and Nissan have today confirmed the first release of downloadable content for Turn 10's Forza Motorsport 2. Available to download for free, the pack contains three Nissan models, the 2007 Sentra SE-R, Altima, and 350Z, and are (somewhat obviously) available through Xbox Live Marketplace.

Additionally, a new tournament set around the Sentra SE-R will kick off on August 18th, culminating on October 6th at the Los Angeles AutoShow, where finalists can compete for prizes, including a Nissan car.

A second competition will also be held, with gamers encouraged to customise the Sentra's paint job, and will be judged by Turn 10 representatives. Full details on both competitions can be found at XboxLiveTournament.com.

The Peugeot 980 Race Car, which came second in the recent Le Mans 24 Hour Race, has also been released, costing 50 Microsoft Points.

The only real annoying factor being the load times every few screens; they should be a thing of the past!
