Final Fantasy XIII's Producer, Yoshinori Kitase points to a spring 2010 launch window for FFXIII in Europe...
We already knew that we'd probably be waiting less than a year for Final Fantasy XIII to come to Europe, which is a lot quicker than usual for a Final Fantasy release, but now the game's Producer has revealed that FFXIII will launch in the territory next spring on both PS3 and Xbox 360.
"We don't have the actual month down yet, but in Japan it's scheduled for a winter release, and in Europe and North American territories it's spring 2010," Yoshinori Kitase told VG247 at GamesCom.
"For Europe and North America, the PS3 and 360 versions are going to be released simultaneously," Kitase clarified. Square Enix had previously announced a Spring 2010 launch in the West at E3 earlier this year, although it was unclear whether the game would come to Europe in this window and which consoles it would be released on.
There you have it, now go ahead and book a couple of weeks off work next April.

A FFVI remake would be more exciting to see and would make more sense than a FFVIII remake since FFVIII already has 3D graphics. I would only roll my eyes at a FFVII remake. Seriously, the world's gone way beyond sloppy seconds with those characters and that universe as it is.
