Square-Enix has recently released the first specific details on ‘the forthcoming ‘Final Fantasy XII’ for the Playstation2.<br><br>The game will star two lead characters named Vaan and Ashe, both of which are of the Hume race suggesting that other races will be included in the game along similar lines to ‘Final Fantasy XI’.<br><br>It’s claimed that Vaan is a thief from the Dalmaska Kingdom, and that his dream is to become a sky pirate. Ashe on the other hand is the princess of the Dalmaska Kingdom, the only daughter of the king and determined to be the next ruler of the realm.<br><br>The story takes place in a world named Ivalice in the Valentia continent, the same as that featured in ‘Final Fantasy Tactics Advance’, and depicts a mighty war between the military nation of the Arcadia Empire and the Rozaria Imperium.<br><br>The meeting of the two lead characters leads to a great change in the story of the world.<br><br>Other cryptic details released by the games producer, Yasumi Matsuno, suggest that the game will ship on 2 DVDs and that it will not feature any major love aspects.
