Square-Enix confirms that the Final Fantasy XII spin-off is due across Europe in the early part of next year...
Following a launch in Japan and a late November release in North America, Square-Enix has today confirmed that European gamers will finally be able to play the Final Fantasy XII spin off, Revenant Wings, in early 2008.
Launching exclusively on Nintendo DS, Revenant Wings continues the story of Final Fantasy XII's protagonists including Vaan, Penelo, Fran and Balthier, one year after the events of the original title, which launched earlier in 2007.
John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments, "I am delighted that we are providing fans with another opportunity to enjoy the beautiful world of Ivalice with FINAL FANTASY XII: REVENANT WINGS. With the same high-production values including movies and music, this is a stunning sequel that expands upon the original game and that makes full use of the Nintendo DS hardware."
Expect a more precise release date in the coming weeks.
