Music Player

Beat the game once, then the music player will be available in Extra at the main menu.

Bonus Dungeon Location

Once you have collected all the legendary weapons and beaten the game load your cleared game save and head towards Phantom Village. Just south of there you will see bubbles on the water use your sub to dive under the bubbles and you will see the entry to the bonus dungeon.

Easy Walse Castle Basement Looting Glitch

This works only on the Gameboy Advance version of Final Fantasy V. After so many steps, you are automatically thrust into battle. However, if you quicksave, exit and continue, the step counter is reset. If you take only 5 steps, a few more if you're feeling risky, save and load, you can get all the treasures and get out without encountering a single Jackanapes. Like this, you don't have to run if you are going for the Brave Blade and you do not have to encounter the Jackanapes on your first visit to the castle.

No forced runs from Chicken Knife

The weapon Chicken Knife has a "special" ability to force the user to run away from battle every now and then. But, there is a way to trick the game into NOT activating this effect while still using this powerful weapon.

1. You must be a Ninja, Thief with Dual-Wield, OR Freelancer with Dual-Wield.
2. Equip the weapon Twin Lance in your right hand. (Twin Lance is a Ninja/Thief exclusive weapon)
3. Equip the weapon Chicken Knife in your left hand.

Because Twin Lance has the inherent ability to attack

Beating shiva easily

To easily beat shiva buy a fire rod and have a black mage with fira.(frost rods and black magis fira can be bought in karnak). Get to shiva in the walse water tower witch is located in the castle. Talk to the green orb with fire in it. This is shiva. make sure the person with flame rod is first to attack and the person with black magic fira the second person to go. Select ITEMS with the person who has fire rod and go up one. Select fire rod and it will kill the ice soldiers and badly hurt shiva. After this use fira on shiva and it will kill her. Have fun with your new
summoned monster!

Defeating catastrophe

To easily kill catastrophe have at least 1 time mage and 1 summoner. Make sure the time mage casts float on all party members BEFORE your summoner summons carbuncle. Catastrophe will use 100 g's but it will reflect onto him! That is all he will use and you are free to attack him as you please!

Carbunce 1 hit kill

While fighting carbuncle use a spellblade firaga. Attack him with it and it will kill him 1 hit (unless it misses).
