Final Fantasy I

This year marks the twentieth anniversary of the release of Square-Enix's Final Fantasy series, which launched across Japan in December 1987, which has subsequently gone on to become one of the most iconic RPG franchises to date.

To celebrate the anniversary, Famitsu has revealed that Square-Enix is working on two Anniversary Editions for PSP, imaginatively titled Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition and Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition II. The first edition will include the extra dungeon added the GameBoy Advance version of the game, together with a Gallery Mode.

Both games have been scheduled in 2007 (in Japan at least), though there's no news on either making the jump to Europe or North America.
