The futuristic racer from Koei is finally given an expected release period to arrive on its previously exclusive platform...
Already available on Xbox 360 for a couple of months, despite originally being a PlayStation 3 exclusive (and a PS3 launch title at that), Koei has revealed that Fatal Inertia 'maybe' heading to North American units of Sony's shiny black monolith in Spring 2008.
Confirming the 'possible' release period to US-based 1UP after Fatal Inertia failed to make an appearance on their schedule, Koei's original IP joins a number of UE3 built PlayStation 3 titles that have missed their expected release dates, including Beowulf and Medal of Honor: Airborne.
It's with mountains of irony that Fatal Inertia was delayed on PS3 given that its name suggests moving sluggishly is a rather deadly affair - perhaps there's some sort of subtext there. There's no word on when the racer will make onto PlayStation 3 units on this side of the Atlantic.
