Fatal Inertia EX Arriving June 19th News

Following its original delay in 2007, and a further delay from its planned release last month, Koei has today confirmed that Fatal Inertia EX will be racing onto PlayStation 3 from June 19th.

The PS3 game, which will now only be available to purchase over the PlayStation Network, arrives months after Xbox 360 players were able to get to grips with its original incarnation last year.

"We're really excited about what we've accomplished with Fatal Inertia EX," said Mike Bond, lead game designer for Fatal Inertia EX. "Gamers will be amazed by all of the improvements we've made. Fatal Inertia EX is a faster, more visually-captivating experience packed with new content not found in the original."

Besides faster speeds and better handling vehicles than its original, Fatal Inertia will also support SIXAXIS motion control. Although given the lack of responsiveness in twitch gaming situations, it'll be interesting to see whether the option is taken up in huge numbers.
