2K Games To Publish Family Guy News

In what has to the greatest come-back since Lazarus rose from the dead, May 1st 2005 sees the return of Peter, Brian, Stewie and Co in the hugely anticipated come back of Family Guy, which was unceremoniously dropped in 2001 by the Fox Network.

Gearing up for the monumental come-back, Take-Two today confirmed that it has secured the development and publishing rights to develop videogames based on the dysfunctional family.

A more intelligent series than other family orientated animations, Family Guy is the brainchild of Seth McFarlane who also lends his vocal talents to voice Peter Griffin, Brian the Dog, and Stewie the baby.

The game will be a third person action/adventure with gamers having to play several of the characters from the Griffin family as they interact with the other inhabitants of Quahog, Rhode Island.

We cannot over-emphasise how excited we are at the prospect of playing the Family Guy videogame; weâ??re just â??wishing on a Weinsteinâ? that whoever is tasked with developing the game can capture the unique humour and doesnâ??t butcher it like oh-so many dreadful TV adaptations in the past.
